I&#8217;ve had this happen a couple times in the past but I always had an out &#8211; I&#8217;m a lefty. Never did I ever come across another lefty that wanted to borrow my clubs. Usually, we are a rare breed and know that we just need to have our own set.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>I needed some time to think about this. A couple factors that came into play were 1) this guy is not a golfer he just happens to swing left and 2) he was going on a golf trip with his buddies. Hell no! Red flags were going up everywhere. It&#8217;s tough enough to find a left handed set that you want without special ordering and paying out the ass for it. Do I really think this guy will care for them? I doubt it.<\/span><\/span><br \/><span><span><br \/><\/span><\/span><span><span>Unfortunately, I had to nicely turn down the request by telling him my clubs were at the shop being re-gripped. That&#8217;s good one, right? I just hope he&#8217;s not reading this. How do I explain to someone that (for me at least) letting you borrow my clubs is like letting you borrow my underwear. There&#8217;s a personal attachment and if anyone is going to dirty them it&#8217;s going to be me. Ok, that might be a little to much info but you get the point.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>Maybe I&#8217;m a little extreme with my reasoning but I can&#8217;t quite let someone else borrow my clubs. Especially if they never played. I mean, I have no problem with letting someone use a club when I&#8217;m there but the whole borrowing thing isn&#8217;t quite jiving with me.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span>What do you think?
