I’m not a beach person.\u00a0 Not in my golf life or in my actual everyday\u00a0life.\u00a0 In actual life, I have two colors to my skin…red and white.\u00a0 I just can’t get a good tan.\u00a0 I guess it’s the bit of Irish in me.\u00a0 Somehow it overpowers the Italian when it comes to skin tone.\u00a0 So going to the beach is normally not a great experience for me. \u00a0And, it’s\u00a0pretty much the same in my golf game.<\/p>\n

I am not a beach person out on the course either.\u00a0 My all-around golf game is not\u00a0very good.\u00a0 But the trap?\u00a0 Brutal.\u00a0 By far the worst part of my game.\u00a0 If you can suffer through\u00a0this painful two minutes, here’s a bit of proof<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I used to look at being in\u00a0the trap as improvement in my game.\u00a0 My rationale was the placement of the traps.\u00a0 They are there to protect the green.\u00a0 So if I’m landing in them on approaches, then I’m getting closer to\u00a0landing on the dance floor.\u00a0 But those days are gone.\u00a0 Now, they are the enemy of all that means anything to me.<\/p>\n

Now we here at GolfStinks are not ones for golf training aids reviews<\/a>.\u00a0 As a matter of fact, this is what we normally do with\u00a0them<\/a>.\u00a0 But could\u00a0one of these things actually help me?\u00a0 What about something like the Up & Down Golfer<\/a>?\u00a0 It seems simple and logical enough.\u00a0 There is, of course, practice…but who has the\u00a0time?<\/p>\n

So just because we don’t take our games all that serious, and we don’t give much merit to most training aids, that doesn’t mean that others don’t.\u00a0 So what’s the worst part of everyone else’s game?\u00a0 And do you use, or have you used, any training aids?\u00a0 Did they help?\u00a0 Let us know, because if one of these things actually works like it promises, then maybe we’ll even do something serious…, or…maybe not.<\/p>\n
